GIVE YOUR TIME AND TALENT AT THE RETURNING HEARTS CELEBRATION
Are you ready to be part of a miraculous day, witnessing the saving power of Christ as you experience families spiritually reuniting?
Then join us for our next Returning Hearts Celebration on Saturday, May 17, at Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana. This joyous event may seem like just a carnival, a day of fun, games, and celebration. But it’s also a day of reconciliation and restoration as you experience inmate fathers spiritually reuniting with their children.
Amid the day’s excitement, these parents receive their chance to ask their children’s forgiveness and invite them to know the love and salvation available to them by accepting Christ.
Their actions can serve as the catalyst to heal a family and break the cycle of sin — even break a generational cycle of incarceration.
What can you do to help? Give your time and talent — anything from serving as a family assistant to setting up tables to organizing gift bags to making signs.
Do you hear God calling you to help us in Angola? Please carefully discern and answer His call.
HOW TO GET MY CHURCH INVOLVED
You and your church members can help in so many ways.
- Gather a group to volunteer at our Returning Hearts Celebration in Angola.
- Ask about how you can become a facilitator, helping to bring Christ to incarcerated fathers and mothers in prison.
- Share with fellow church members about Lifeline Global’s incarcerated fathers, mothers, and their families. Give suggestions about how the members can support restoration through a generous donation.
Incarcerated men and women need to know a community of faith outside of prison — like your church — cares for them and that they are not alone.
CHANGE LIVES THROUGH YOUR PRAYERS
Now, more than ever, please pray for incarcerated mothers and fathers:
- Ask for God to inspire others in offering their time, talent, and treasure for this ministry.
- Pray for opportunities to restore more at correctional facilities worldwide.
- Pray for incarcerated mothers and fathers to be strengthened in their faith, stand firm, and serve as a compelling witness for the Gospel.
- Pray for the children of incarcerated parents to lean on the faith of their parent, and come to accept the Gospel in their own lives.
- Pray for recently released mothers and fathers to stand firm in their faith as they encounter the challenges of life outside incarceration.
